If you're using a PC, this process may differ slightly depending on the version of Windows you are using.
For Windows 7 and Vista:
- Click the 'Start Menu'
- Select 'Control Panel' and open the 'View DropDown Menu'
- Select 'Category'
- Click on 'Network and Internet', then select 'Network and Sharing Center'
- Select 'Change Adapter Settings' from the left column
- Right click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select 'Enable' (This could also be listed as 'Wireless Network Connection')
For Windows 8:
- Within the Apps screen, select 'Windows System category' and then 'Control Panel'
- Select 'View DropDown Menu'
- Select 'Category'
- Click on 'Network and Internet', then select 'Network and Sharing Center'
- Select 'Change Adapter Settings' from the left column
- Right click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select 'Enable' (This could also be listed as 'Wireless Network Connection')
For Windows XP:
- Click the 'Start Menu'
- Select 'Control Panel' and open the 'View DropDown Menu'
- Select 'Category'
- Click on 'Network and Internet', then select 'Network Connections'
- Click on 'Wireless Network Connection' and select 'Enable'
